Mary Had a Little Lamb

Mary had a little Lamb, His fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went, the Lamb was sure to go.

He followed her to school each day, t'wasn't even in the rule.
It made the children laugh and play, to have a Lamb at school.

And then the rules all changed one day, illegal it became;
To bring the Lamb of God to school, or even speak His Name!

Every day got worse and worse, And days turned into years.
Instead of hearing children laugh, we heard gun shots and tears.

What must we do to stop the crime, that's in our schools today?
Let's let the Lamb come back to school, and teach our kids to pray.

Bob's Response to this poem.

When the Supreme Court ruled that prayer was banned and the ten commandments could no longer be posted in the public school there were some coincidental things that began to happen. It cannot be proven that the removal of prayer and the ten commandments were the reason that all of these things happened, but the things that happened are factual statistics from the U.S. Government. David Barton has written numerous books which illustrate what I am sharing and I would encourage everyone to read what he has to say.
  • S.A.T. Test Scores began to decline.
  • Teen pregancy increased dramatically.
  • Sexually transmitted diseases increased dramatically.
  • Teenage suicide increased.
  • School violence increased.
  • School dropout rate increased
  • U.S. world academic ranking began to decline
  • ...many more negative statistics.
For those who are interested, I will be showing a video by David Barton called "America's Godly Heritage" which will explain many of these negative statistics. The date, time and location is yet to be announced but if you are interested, please contact me.
