In a series of steps over many months, God has been leading our church in the
process of building a new church facility. The search for a new site culminated
in the location of a wonderful piece of property at the corner of Hunter Road
and McCarty Lane. The substantial indebtedness incurred in securing the site
was repaid in a surprisingly short time.

With increasing enthusiasm, the church approved a Phase I Building Committee.
After months of fervent prayer and serious study, their recommendation of the
Basic Design has also been approved. Architectural services have been paid for
and a Building Fund is growing steadily. The time has now come for the most
significant step in the process to be taken.
The church approved a campaign to raise funds for the new building and the Faith, Family, Future program has been launched. With a growing sense of God's leadership, the church has adopted one of the most challenging goals in our long history. The goal of this campaign is not a new building or even the funds to build it. It is about everyone in the congregation praying for God's leadership and sacrificially obeying as He leads. When we do, goals will be achieved and needs will be met. God does not lead his people to attempt things that are impossible. It is not unusual, however, for God to lead His people to attempt things that they feel are beyond their capacity. There are many examples of this in the Bible. When God's people follow Him in faith and sacrifice, He enables them to accomplish with Him what they could never do without Him. We invite you to begin now to pray for God to lead you into your part in the Faith, Family, Future campaign. |
