General Observations

  • By all estimations, the San Marcos area will continue to grow over the next few years as a central focal point in the Austin/San Antonio Corridor.
  • New residents and new jobs mean new opportunities for ministry and for reaching people with the exciting news that God loves them.
  • San Marcos First Baptist Church has voted to extend beyond its comfort zone to meet these new challenges with God's help. The only question for us is..."Will we be faithful in carrying out this vision in the coming years through our stewardship and sacrifice in order to create the facilities and programs for these ministries?"
